Who are we?
We are a family-owned business based in North Brisbane, run by Joel McQuade, with over 20 years of experience in the building industry. Together with his wife and two young children, Joel is passionate about creating innovative, sustainable, and high-quality living solutions.
Joel's career began in carpentry, where he successfully operated a construction business on residential and commercial projects. Over time, realising the need for solutions to the high cost of living and rising house prices, his interest in design and problem-solving led him to the exciting world of tiny homes. At Vanguard Studios, we focus on building transportable studios and tiny homes that are functional, affordable, and designed to enhance your lifestyle.
